Mexico-based crypto exchange Bitso lists Shiba Inu (SHIB)

The popularity and adoption of Shiba Inu (SHIB) are on the rise even as the meme coin’s price struggles to regain its bullish momentum.

On January 12, Bitso announced that it had added Shiba Inu to the list of the cryptocurrencies it supports on its platform. It is worth noting that Bitso was the first crypto exchange to be launched in Mexico, in 2014 and has gone ahead to become one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the country.

Bitso is also a key partner of the Californian FinTech Firm Ripple.

Bitso listing comes a month after crypto payment processor BitPay announced that its customers would be able to “buy, store, swap and spend SHIB directly on the BitPay app.”

The listing makes Shiba Inu the 6th cryptocurrency to be supported on Bitso and thus making it to the list of the first cryptocurrencies that the crypto exchange has listed.
